Bye Bye Baby Mullet

So today was a big day for me. I mean I guess it was a big day for Lincoln, but, seriously, he could have cared less. I, on the other hand, had a rough time of it. My baby, my last baby, my last baby's first hair cut. What could be more emotional than that? :) OK. I know I'm weird. But I just can't help myself. My babies all had a ton of hair at an early age which led to the boys needing haircuts just after turning a year old (probably should have done it sooner...but THE CURLS!) and Emma not getting her first cut until she was 4- with hair down to her rear! In my eyes, it's one of the bigger stepping stones. It's even more emotional to me than that first tooth. To me it represents moving from babyhood to toddlerhood. (SIGH)

We took him into Bend to this super cute kids salon called Sprouts.

Done with the top and sides. He's looking at her as if to say, "Don't even think about touchin' the curls." (sigh) ...THE CURLS...

By the way...this lady was amazing! I've never seen him wiggle more and she kept cutting at lightening speed. Definitely an award is needed.

He knows he's cool.
