It's a meme day...Alphabitty Moments

In an effort to remember the little things in life (especially those of our children), Mama Bear over at 4 the Love of Family, started this little meme called Alphabitty Moments. And this week she's made it to the letter F.

F is for.... FINGERS!

I love my babies fingers. And it makes me a little sad when I see them get bigger in size, because, naturally, it means the rest of them is too. I notice it happening when I hold their hands to cross the street, when they're folded in prayer, when I wash the littlest up after dinner, when putting gloves on them, when watching them color or write, and a million other times. Including when they're picking their noses and trying to hand "it" to me, but I won't mention that one...

I never want to forget from the time that they are soft, smooth, chubby, so innocent and sweet...

...to the time they are slimmer, more capable, but still sweet...

...to the time they are bigger, bonier, getting rougher, but still sweet, holding more responsibility, learning to do so many different, new, and exciting things...
...because they will always be my babies' fingers...no matter what...even when they're bigger than mine.
