6 years since the last time we had "Family Pictures" taken. We finally decided it was time
I realized that "just 10 more pounds" wasn't gonna happen and who better to do it than a sweet
friend from church who is starting up her photography business. She's pretty great and talented, don't ya think?:) Go to
Kivett Photography to see more of her work and if you live in our neck of the woods or will be visiting, she comes
highly recommended by us!!
So we got our act together enough to get them taken. Now I just need to make some decisions. Which prints, which size.... And any one who knows me well, will know that this will not be a simple, quick, or easy task.

You don't know me, I found you through the Acker's blog but wanted to let you know, your photos are beautiful, your friend really did an amazing job, and you have a beautiful family. My suggestion, go for a closer shot of your family, they tend to be more eye-catching and meaningful even if they seem less artsy. Or just print them all! ;op

I LOVE the one of you guys against the brick wall but as far as a good family portrait I'd have to say the one of you sitting in the leaves. The one of you and Emma is REALLY good too! And of the you and the boys... Okay... I can see this is going to be a hard decision. Because each individual picture of the kids is really good too. Splurge and get them all!

BTW, we just had our picture made this year, too. Not as faincy as you all, but still. It's been 6 years for us, too. I'm sure the kids haven't changed much since kindergarted and 2nd grade. We do what we can, no?
