carousels, cornflakes, strike outs, and the like, in no particular order.

What happens when you leave your 1 1/2 year old alone for hours and hours to fend for himself turn your back for 24.3888 pickin' seconds?

How glad was I, though, that due to lack of timely grocery shopping, this last box of cereal was only about 1/4 of the way full? You feel me, dog? That's for all my fellow A.I. fans.

------------------------------------------------------------

Last week we had some visitors. My friend, Amanda, brought her 3 boys over the mountain and through the woods to OUR house for some quick but quality time. We, of course, got some good talks in and even managed to start and finish a puzzle, all while letting 6 kids play with matches love on each other and play.
We did have a few "injuries", but it was nothing out of the ordinary when you consider 5 out of those 6 are boys and it was nothing so serious as to warrant anything other than some Mama lovin' to make it all better, AND it did not involve matches. (Just in case you were actually wondering.)
We even managed to squeeze some time in to go to the park and the carousel, one of my kids favorites. There must be something wonderful and magical about it that keeps drawing them back. What, I don't know. Because, personally, if I'm going to pay to get sick, let it be for that cruise we want to take or for that sling-you-around-till-you-don't-know-which-way-is-up ride found at Magic Mountain or Disneyland. But since that's not going to happen in the near future, I'll be content to watch the complete and udder joy displayed on the little one's faces when they're searching for that perfect horse and taking their ride on it.
Oh and did I mention that Linc's loved him some Amanda. Big time.

You asked for it. I'm delivering.

STRIKEOUTS 101

Ah, the joy and the pain of them. Actually, not so much pain. Once you learn how, which is what I'm getting ready to tell you, it's a piece of cake.

When your composing a post go over to the "edit html" tab instead of the "compose" tab and do this:

Put this symbol: < s > right before the word(s) you want crossed out and then put this symbol: < / s > right after the word(s). Don't put any spaces within the symbol or before or after your word(s).

Voila. Your done. Once your done adding the symbols on the "edit html" tab, you can always go back to the "compose" tab to finish up your post.

See, told you it was easy peasy. And here you all thought I was some computer genius. OK, so you probably didn't think this, but let a girl dream!

Obviously
, I didn't figure this out on my own and I would love to give credit where credit is due, but I, honestly, can not remember who's blog I found the instructions on. So, whoever you are, thank you.

And because I had some people, and by people I mean 1 person, ask for pics of the new hair....here you go.
And sorry you had to see all my laundry as well.

THE END.

Super cute hair! I like it!!! (And your laundry pile is gorgeous too). :)

Glad you had fun with your friends. I'm impressed that you had time to talk and work a puzzle. It takes all my concentration to do one or the other. *wink*
