Unplugged...until later tonight.

It's going to be one of those days.

I'm going to need an extra dose of energy...to get this house spic and span.

I'm going to need the Lord's grace... poured out of me onto my children.

I'm going to need a little patience...to let my almost 5 year old help with pupcakes instead of whipping them out real fast myself.

I'm going to need a lot of inspiration...to get the partially unpacked things, unpacked and into that perfect place.

I'm going to need a faster metabolism....to work off all the yummy homemade tacos, Mexican rice, and cupcakes that will be consumed. Did I mention the coffee that it will take, too?

I'm going to need a little touch from the Healer's hand...because I woke up with a kink in my neck, a headache, and the feel of a cold coming on.

I'm going to need a little motivation...to keep going instead of lay down and take a nap.

....all while this very sweet but equally mischievous little stinker is present.

Not asking for much, am I? Ahem.

BUT, it should all be worth it when I see the joy on my darling daughter's face when she presents her mouse pupcakes (yes, she still says it and I refuse to correct it.) to her guests and when we present to her, her very own pink bean bag chair.

And then I'll fall into bed, exhausted, but feeling good about all that was accomplished....if I survived it all.

So, I'm off...to cut up those licorice whiskers. But wait. Maybe I should finish that coffee first and take a shower. I'm guessing, when all is said and done, our guests would much rather see me with clean, oil-free hair and a smiling face then a perfect house...

So, more importantly, I need peace...because what will get done will get done. And if it doesn't, oh well, because I want my children and my family to get the best of me...not the leftovers.
