Surprise New Year's Visitors

The Norris family has done it again! Surprise, we're coming! ...I think they like us a little bit. And, man, do we love our friends the Norris'.

Billy had to work Friday, so for the sake of everyone's sanity in a tiny apartment with 10 people (ok, mostly my sanity...I was having one of THOSE days. Sorry guys!), we head off to our awesome children's museum, A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village.(Thanks to Papa and Mimi for this timely gift!) We had a blast, the kids got some pent-up energy out, and we didn't have to pad our apartment walls for it to happen!
1 of the 4 beautiful old houses that make up the museum.
Playing outside on the literally GINORMOUS play structure. 3 stories tall enclosed twisty slide. That's all you need to know!
My FAVORITE picture from our time together!

Trying to surround herself with a huge bubble!

...and more bubbles.

Can you tell we spent A LOT of our time in the bubble room?

Sitting and standing in the REALLY big chair on the porch.
Saturday we had "Gregness" for breakfast, of course!

Gregness: (noun) - where by "someone" looks in your kitchen (because you have joyfully and willingly handed it over for the time that he is there:)) takes things that YOU would have never thought to put together, puts a dash of this, and a pinch of that, and there by creates a masterpiece of finger-lickin', gourmet food to stuff our bellies with!

...and fun was had by all!

We like that place! Maybe we can coordinate a day to go together. It is one of the passes we can get from the library.

The picture in the chair reminds me of a birthday party Caley had at Gilbert House about 10 years ago. Good memories and I really do miss those carefree days. Make lots and lots of memories--time really races by and before you know it, they will be 16, 14 and 12! Yikes!
